Sometimes when you are involved in children's and youth work daily or weekly you can begin to feel as if you are running on a hamster wheel of ideas, programmes, presentations, relationships and organisation. Sometimes when you're at that point all you want is someone to talk to, someone to listen, someone to give you a different perspective.

Surgery is not necessarily about dissecting your work or healing your working wounds but is about opening doors for you to talk with someone who has been there, done that and bought the scrubs afterwards.
