What are these Grow Teams?
Grow Teams are weeklong events. They run from a Monday until a Friday, from 10:00am until 3:00pm, and cover an age range from six years old up to twelve years old. The team is residential and arrives the Saturday afternoon before the first day and leaves the following Friday evening!!!

10am - 3pm is a long time, what do we do?
Having fun doing arts and crafts
There are a variety of Grow Teams - Bible holiday clubs, summer schemes and environmental summer programmes. A typical day may consist of a teaching programme, crafts, games, music, multimedia and
anything else that may come up! For volunteers there is a chance to work with small groups, big groups, different ages, on your own or as a team. These weeks are never an easy ride for volunteers, they are not a holiday. However, they are fun, developmental, exciting, challenging, tough, addictive. Team volunteers will always learn loads about themselves. If you're thinking of volunteering you're sure to make new friends and lasting friendships. This is an opportunity to serve local church or community groups and therefore you will have, quite simply, an awesome time!!!
Why "Grow" Teams??
A cheerful grow team leader
Well, in Grow Teams, four things "Grow" for it, they are:
> The kids – through the teaching and the leaders they
come into contact with. We reckon the kids grow physically, mentally, emotionally and definitely
spiritually.
> The Church – the church will hopefully grow from the team. We often see kids
turning up to church who have never been before.
> YOU – you will grow from the experience of being a Grow Team leader, you will
learn loads of... well stufffff. You will learn how to work with children, how to lead groups, how to review your work, how to be prepared, and if it's a Bible Grow Team your faith will grow. Ahh, there’s just toooo much stuff to list: you learn about God, yourself and others.

Another happy grow team leader
> God's Kingdom – these teams are all about Him. And we do them only to serve Him and enlarge His kingdom. We strongly encourage you to take the opportunity to serve God with Grow Teams and plant seeds of life for Him.
