Food Hygiene Training

A long standing part of Alliance Youth Works' training programmes is our Food Hygiene training which is an essential for many businesses and organisations handling food for the public. Whether you want training for your business, church, or group, Alliance Youth Works is a cost effective and fun way to learn and/or get qualifications.

Alliance Youth Works is a registered centre, and Alice McAlary a registered trainer for CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health).

How long does a course take?

Workshops last 1.5 - 2 hours, and the option of taking an exam to gain a Level 2 award for Food Safety in Catering is available. This exam takes 1 hour extra.

How much will it cost?

The cost of the workshop is £30.00 per hour plus travel, and if your participants wish to take the exam, this will cost a further £40.00 per person.

The overall cost can be adjusted when tutor time and travel is covered.

Where do the workshops take place?

Where do you want them to take place? You can work out, with Alice, where you or your group will do the programme. We have been to halls, restaurants, church premises and canteens. Where is most convenient for you?
