Outdoor Opportunities

Robin Crockett What began with three guys on a little 12 acre site in Rostrevor has now grown to incorporate six large sites, some of which are over 120 acres, across Down and Armagh - Eden Opportunities is now a well established element of our environmental education programme. In alliance with the Health and Social Care Trust, these projects are headed up by our Environmental Opportunities Worker, Robin, and are designed to help all participants develop socially, physically and gain an appreciation of the natural world around us. The activities range from physical activity through conservation projects, working in teams, to building nest boxes and seasonal cooking and gardening. There is a strong work ethic and ethos of looking after ourselves and the world around us.
