> After 17 sessions at Peg's Cottage, we have only had five full dry days, and so much of our intended work has been stalled due to the adverse weather. Tyrone, ehh?

> The small team, however, have opened up one huge planting bed in the garden and marked out various beds and paths in the garden and wood.

> We have just started developing the orchard by trimming back the beech hedge and hedge laying the native hedge

> We have collected all fallen branches and are now ready to fill the gaps in the hedges and plant new hedges to fully contain the orchard

> New apple trees, pear trees and plum trees will also be added to enhance the mix
