New Campers
Strong friendships grow in the cabin environment
Coming to Camp for the first time can feel quite scary. A new place, new people, counsellors, cabins, it's all very confusing. But whether you're coming with someone else or you're coming on your own, don't worry. We'll look after you real well!

First of all. If you have any questions or anything that worries you, just ring us and have a chat. We would love to have the opportunity to talk to you before Camp anyway.

When you arrive at Camp, you will be greeted by the Camp directors who will introduce you to the Camp counsellor who will be in charge of your cabin. They will be with you all week, except during some of the activities.

If it still feels scary, we can also tell you that the other campers, that have been for a few years, are great craic and full of fun. We know you'll fit in really quickly and just love being part of the Camp family.

We have new campers every year, your counsellor will make every effort to make you feel at home and feel secure. Camp is a really caring and friendly place. All the staff, the directors, counsellors, cooks and activity instructors are fun and alert to your hopes and fears. So hey! Why don't you come and join us around the campfire? See you there.
