We've moved!

For the first time in Camp history, we have changed venue. This year we are taking up residence in the Ganaway Activity Centre, between Millisle and Ballywalter in the Ards peninsula of County Down, overlooking the Irish Sea.

Selected as one of the twenty-seven centres in Northern Ireland as a London 2012 Olympic Games pre-games training camp, this centre will take Camp Alliance closer to our original vision. With real cabins and a counsellors outpost, with onsite acitivites and amazing facilities, we believe this Boy's Brigade activity centre is going to open a new chapter for Camp Alliance.

What is Camp Alliance?

Now in its 9th year, Camp was created to give young people a residential experience that was not just about summer fun but about challenge and adventure too; about deep and lasting relationships in a safe and structured environment. The AYW alliances bring the best youth work and outdoor skills to the campers. Camp aims to offer young people opportunities to experience new activities, get better at things they may have tried before, explore wild places, build deep and lasting relationships and offer young people a residential experience unlike any other. A heritage of great activities, excellent counsellors, great fun and quality campers has created a solid foundation for Camp 2011. Something magical happens every summer since 2003 at Camp. Friendships are forged and lives are challenged as campers discover a place to truly be themselves and spread their wings to venture into new experiences
