What was your first pet, and what was it's name?
Spiro the CollieCocker - he was a Collie/Cocker Spaniel Cross and inspired me to call annoying people 'Spaniels'. He ran away with my teddy, Spot, and I found him in a hedge down the fields. I had to sew Spot back up. See Spot run, see Spot being ripped to pieces. Spiro lived to 21, or 147 in dog years - really should have taught him to play snooker.
When you were younger, you wanted to be a... ?
An archaeologist. Coins, clay pipes, old bottles, rusty bits of metal and musket balls litter my childhood bedroom.
What about your favourite colour?
I like black, red, green and especially orange.
What's your favourite movie and why?
Ooo, tough one. I must confess to knowing all the words to Harry Potter 1 - me and my sister have competitions. And I do own Stardust. Have watched LoTR many times. I like war movies too, and good comedies, and scary movies - but not too scary that I keep looking over my shoulder in the car.
What do you like to do of an evening?
Having or going out to friends, and making our own craic. I like making things or doing things outside like walking with the dog, or taking pictures.
So what is your ideal holiday?
Whittling my own spoon in front of a campfire, having spent the day canoeing down a river in the middle of the wilderness with good friends and having spotted and photographed some amazingly rare wildlife. Alternatively I love caravaning/camping! Reading books by candlelight and no TV - it's great!
There are frogs legs on a menu, would you eat them?
I've had them and they were nice. However the 'escargot' were like picking someone else's nose and eating it - bleugh!
Finish the sentence: I love...?
Home - feeling at home.
What annoys you most?
I'm very laid back, but if you want to annoy me just gossip in front of me, be narrow-minded in a conversation with me or talk loudly about something you clearly know nothing about.
